Nantahala Gorge Campsites

Brookside Campground has offered recreational camping and whitewater rafting for the family and outdoor enthusiast alike for over 30 years. We offer both Tent and RV campsites that are equipped with electricity, water, picnic tables and access to clean indoor restrooms and showers. Many of the campsites at Brookside Campground are located along Rowland Creek, a tributary of the Nantahala River. The Campground is located just one mile away from the Nantahala River launch site and some of the best whitewater rafting and trout fishing in the southeast. 

Tent Campsites

Tent campsites provide a level area suitable for tent camping. Each tent campsite includes a picnic table, trash service, and access to bathrooms and showers. 

RV Campsites

Brookside offers RV campsites in the Nantahala Gorge. These sites come equipped with water, electric and sewer. All of our RV sites are situated alongside Rowlands Creek.

Sites 3-16 | The Front Line

Campsites 3 – 16 are full hookup sites that are suitable for both RV and tent camping. They have electricity, water, and sewage. Each site includes a picnic table as well as daily trash pickup.
